Welcome to NorthCountry Fuzzy Farm, located in cold north eastern Minnesota, a humane, no kill homestead that keeps various fiber animals, goats, bees and pastured poultry. We have a passion for heirloom gardening, natural living and keeping the traditions of the past alive while progressing into the future. Our products reflect these interests. Most of the fiber work displayed in my shop was done using fiber that came from my own animals or animals belonging to friends and neighbors. I card most of my own wool using hand cards, a labor intensive process, then spin it. Hand spun yarn does not have the same uniformity as commercial yarn; but has a wonderful texture. I do not scrub away all of the lanolin from my wool, giving my yarn extra softness.
